The invoice workspace stores invoices, your current draft, business and client details, logos and preferences in IndexedDB in your browser. It does not upload this content to our server. PDF generation and backup export take place on your device. Files you download or share are under your control.
Browser storage and language
A language preference cookie helps remember your interface language. Earlier versions stored invoice data in LocalStorage; those entries may remain as a recovery copy after migration. The public website and workspace use separate browser origins when deployed with separate domains, so their browser storage is separate.
Retention, deletion and backups
Local data remains until you delete it or the browser removes it. Private browsing, clearing site data or browser storage limits can remove records. You can delete saved invoices in the app and clear all local data through browser settings. Clear both IndexedDB and LocalStorage to remove legacy recovery copies, and delete any exported files separately. Keep backups of important records.
Website requests and correspondence
Serving a page requires the server to receive technical information such as your IP address, requested URL and browser headers. Hosting services may process access and security logs. Invoice form contents are not included in these requests. If you contact us, the information you choose to send is used to respond to your request; avoid sending invoice backups or sensitive client details.
Advertising and analytics
We use Umami Cloud to measure page visits and understand how the website is used. Analytics may include page paths, referring websites, browser and device information, and approximate location. We exclude URL query parameters and fragments and respect the browser’s Do Not Track setting. We do not send invoice contents, business or client details, or payment details to analytics. Umami does not use tracking cookies. Analytics requires an internet connection. Advertising is not currently enabled; this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before advertising is introduced.
